Wow, it's been almost a month since I last posted pictures. We went back and painted the floor and the frame. Here's Jean hard at work:
We used floor and porch paint and it turned out pretty good. I insulated the floor but didn't take any pictures
I just left the insulation exposed so we'll see how it holds up.
I installed the brakes and packed the bearings. I went over to NAPA and got a replacement set of bearings and seals so I have the NAPA numbers for a 3500# flexiride axle if anyone is interested.
We also painted the frame with Rustbullet. I really like how the Rustbullet went on and it seems to be pretty tough stuff. We're not going to give it a topcoat, the Rustbullet doesn't need it and we like the color:
Then I moved on to the trailer wiring. I've got all the wiring run for the lights, power and brakes. I used a terminal strip for the rear lights, its a trick I used on my Jeep that worked pretty good:
I ran all the wiring in smurf pipe. Now that I have a welder its a lot easier to install brackets for stuff like that.
Finally, I installed the water tank. I'll bolt down the floor today and maybe install the spare tire and the gas regulator.
Next its on to the walls and the popup roof.
