I voted "On the tung" but really I carry mine "under the tung".

Since this photo was taken a rack for a cooler has been added. With the cooler on you can hardly see it.

Around the mid section! Oh, on the trailer! Underneath on the frame towards the front.
I cut it three times and it's still too short!!

I used to carry mine on the tongue, but I added a tongue box, so I moved it to the left rear side of the tear. It's U-bolted to a piece of 2x4 screwed to one of the stake pockets that came with the trailer frame.

It's pretty solid, and it's easy to get to.

I added a spare tire mount on the trailer tongue. I had to move the battery box forward but it was worth the work.

On the way home from the IRG a guy walked up to me at the gas station and asked if he could buy my spare tire. His boat trailer was throwing its tread and he didn't have a spare. I was way too far from home to give up my spare.

Don't wait until you need one to figure out where to get one!

This is on TD #1 at the rear of the tear. It's a junk yard donut spare.
I still need to get one for TD #2. It's held to the frame with a "U" bolt that can be padlocked. The lock is just barely visible in this photo.
Purchased from Boaters World. :D Danny
