Postby mikeschn » Sun Aug 03, 2008 6:21 pm

Today was the first time I used the grill/smoker I got for my birthday, as a smoker...

I decided to make Beef Brisket...

Brisket is the BOMB in a Smoker. :Flippin Burger:

Try making Pastrami. Its almost the same thing, only with a lot more Pepper in the rub.

Looks great. :applause:

:o  Thanks... and the slicing is not hard, is just takes time. And a halfway decent knife... I learned a lot about the smoker/grill today. And I think the most important thing is a good thermometer, which I'll have to buy really soon!

Looks like you got more use out of that grill than you would out of the iPod holder I was going to get you

I used my digital meat thermometer with our gas grill and killed the probe. I guess the smoker doesn't get as hot. Looks tasty.
