Shouldn't the ones that say free CAD be Stickies so they float on the top.

Are these Web based I do not use windows, I have a Mac. right now Os 9.2 soon to be using Os X10 or Tiger.

Since I first posted this info I have found and been using google sketch. I find that it does what I need it to do. It is easy and it is in a three dimensional solid world. Check it out

It's a sticky!

BTW, I think CADstd is really easy. I haven't really played with sketchup yet, so I really can't compare them.

I agree CAD Std is an easy program for a flat two dimensional layout. Goo dplace to start perhaps and it is free

The CADStd Lite has a few features that aren't on the free version. I bought the Professional version when I was in school but the free version is just as good unless you are fairing radii or something similar. I don't have the Pro version handy to compare because the old windows machine it was installed on went dark on me one day.
It all worked out 'cus my MAC is sooo much better!

I am pleased to report I now have Google SketchUp working great on Linux running Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy 64bit AMD) with Wine version 1.0.

This without Compiz running at all.

OK...having fun with the SketchUp program, but how do I get a design to Photobucket so I can get it here?

File --> Export --> 2D Graphic... and choose JPEG Image, to get an image to upload to either Photobucket or your album here on the forum.
