Just checked. Only four sits left between 89-115 along south shore of Lewey Lake. Think there were more earlier.

Wish I could be there guys, but I will be at Bowman Lake camping with my brothers and sister. We do this every year and I blew it off the last couple of years to go to the TearDown. It should be fun knocking back a few beers with the siblings! :guzzle: :cheerswine:  :wine: :beerhat: :tipsy: :poop: :coffee: I'll be going solo though, as Diane will be taking a long planned trip to Atlanta GA to visit her parents.

Missed the last line of Steve's post about reserving a site.

We just booked site 96. I'll need to negotiate a canoe access easement from Steve.

See you on the 5th.

Hi everyone,
Sorry I was not more involved organizing this one. I moved in August and just bought a new computer last week. It took a while to get online again and transfer all our files onto one computer.(Still ongoing) Anyway, we are booked on site 94. We hope to be there before 8pm on Friday. See you there.

We had great time this weekend at Lewey Lake. Great pot luck & conversation afterwards as usual. On our way home we could really see the leaves were starting to change and by Columbus Day, they'll be past peak as usual. Those unable to attend the Teardown were thought of and missed. We will try to get out one more time this fall. If we do, we'll post it.

Thanks for taking and posting the pics Steve. It was sad to think as we unhitched the TD back home that this would most likely be the last time we'll see everyone until Spring. We'll have to have the midwinter Bull S___t session as we talked about this morning.
Happy Camping,

Ok I'm sold

Postby csmith » Sun Sep 14, 2008 10:01 am

Just booked for June 2009. Should help make the winter fly by. June 10-14 Site 244. Should be one of the first trips for the bus pulling the teardrop. Now I have a reason to get working on my 12 volt side. And will have to watch the want ads for a small generator for the wheelchair.

Is it June yet.

I too am looking fprward to the Tearup in June. I hadn't seen the dates posted so I assume that the weekend of June 13-14 is the officail date for 2009.

I need to reserve soon also.
