:D I finally started my project. After battling illness most of the weekend, I made a template for the layout of our teardrop.

Hey, good start. Now show us a later pic of all of the wood shavings, glue blocks, scattered clamps, screw guns, scrap lumber and stuff like-that-there, that we all experience during our building process. You have the right idea, striking out the exact radius with precision. Good luck on your build, post more pics and we'll all enjoy them. See you at the campground.

Hey, guys, never mind the clamps, everyone's got those - but just check out the fancy store-bought compass:

Actually, I made the compass from a four-foot piece of t-track, that I had bought to make some jigs, and some scrap plywood and a little hot glue. Here's a little better picture of it:

I really need to post some pictures of the other part of the garage - the war zone that is supposed to be left available for my wife's car.

I agree! I was shooting for something like your profile and Gern's.

The upper front curve is from the "trailer for two." The rest of the front is vertical with a 6" radius at the bottom. The back curve starts off at the top like the "grumman", then has a steeper curve like the "trailer for two", and has a 10" radius at the bottom.
