Besides all my Coleman stuff.
I've got a big collection of old to new Wick Lanterns. I don't know why, but then who really knows why people stare collecting things.
I guess it goes back to my Boy Scout Days. Each Patrol (5-7) had a Dietz Junior Kerosene Lantern. Since then I've always associated camping with a Kerosene Lantern.
Models like Blizzard, Crescent, Junior, Air Pilot, Monarch and Wizard.
I still use a Dietz Crescent Lantern when I go camping. The Galley of the Tear has a 12volt light and I have a flashlight if I really have to see something.
Theres a lot more engineering in a lantern than you think.
But I think theres nothing like the soft glow of a Kerosene Lantern.
