My latest piece... (updated)

Postby rainjer » Sun Dec 14, 2008 3:20 pm

I just picked this stove up on eBay. It is 1964 Coleman 502 Sportster stove. I have a special project in mind for it. Let's just say it will not be a "restoration" stove.

The 502 Coleman stoves are great. They're the work horse of the gas stove. Very durable. How much you have to spend on Ebay for it?

I got it for $12 + shipping. I now know why. The check valve is bad and the fuel/air tube in the tank is plugged. I have it broken down now so I can do a complete cleaning.

Great price even if inoperative. It'll give you something to take apart. I got mine for $35.00.
