Fuel filler cap

Postby Rick Sheerin » Sun Dec 21, 2008 11:35 am

Does anyone know where I can get a fuel filler cap for aColeman 242c single mantle. According to the Old Town site Coleman doesn't offer them for the 242 series anymore. I look for them any time I go to Gander mtn, Wally World, any place that sells camping equipment.
My lantern is all cleaned up and ready to fire, I just need the cap!

This guy will have them.

It is best to call him. He has more parts than he lists on his web site.

We just bought a filler cap from Coleman Outlet, and the package says that it will fit all models of Coleman campstoves and lanterns.
The model number is 220C1401. We hope that you can find one and get that lantern going again.

The 242 fuel cam is smaller than normal. Doug found that out a while back. I don't have any 242's so I never have had that problem.
