Cuppa Joe?

Found this at a local junk store. The percolator top has a blue tint to the glass that caught my eye.

Polished it a little more to clean it up than anything else, and made a new handle from cherry because the original was burned to the point of being charcoal. I think it will look good in the tear.

I like it! Been looking for one of those also. Haven't found one to my liking yet.

Yep - the parts are all there. It holds and boils water so I assume it'll make coffee :) Maybe I'll try it out tomorrow.

When you have a 1960 trailer, you need a 1960 coffee pot.

A Corning pot and Yuban coffee (that expensive brand back then) made the best coffee you could find before Starbucks and kin showed up.

That's cool Dennis. My mom had a lot of stuff in that pattern (wedding gifts?), but I can't recall if she had that exact pot. I think she might have.

I'd beg to differ, I think the Corning brewed Yuban beats Starbucks any day

I think this is cool too bad it takes those old propane cans. It would be much neater with a white gas burner!

You get no argument from me on that count. I want to see how it brews good fresh ground French Roast.
