Travel Blog from a Lady Teardropper

A friend sent me this link to a woman who quit her job and traveled the U.S. in her teardrop. It makes me want to do the same.

I just read her whole blog. What an experience. Maybe when I win the lottery I can take off for a couple of months.

yes. i have thought of this myself.
i was going to start on vancouver island, and make my way to florida.
being an avid photographer makes a trip like this even more enticing.. :snappy:

having sold my home before the housing crash, and then the loss of my job last year makes me think about this often. Since i don't have any kids, or any debts anymore; i guess i really don't have any excuses.

being the cautious person that i am, i guess i'll have to give this some more thought...

Have you given it any more thought?

I'd love to do several cross country trips and take months to gently work my way from one end to the other. I'd love to write and photograph the adventure.

Major problem is that hubby has a job that requires him to be in that local. I still might do it some time but the closest I'm getting to it is this fall, I'm planning a trip up the east coast from Florida to Mass. I won't be stopping too much along the way north and then again back south but I'm going to try and stop at different places each way.

Anyone live around I-95? Anyone have any recommended sights to see? I've driven this route many times but always as fast as possible. This time I'll be traveling by myself and will want and need to slow down the pace.

well i put any travel plans on hold at this time.
i missed a good deal on a silver shadow about 2 months ago for half price, and now im grouchy... :fb

i guess i brought this on myself by thinking too much and waiting too long... :noyes:

with the price of fuel, and the rising costs of everything, i doubt i'll be travelling anytime soon...
