What you you think is the prettiest teardrop profile?

Postby mikeschn » Wed Feb 11, 2009 8:41 pm

I don't normally do polls, but this one seems pretty important.

What you you think is the prettiest teardrop profile? If you could put 10 teardrops in a parade, and they were all the same, which profile would it be?

If I didn't list the prettiest profile, please let me know...

You can see most of the profiles here:

http://www.nicksteardrop.com/photos.htm

and here:

http://www.angib.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/t ... tear00.htm

Mike...

P.S. I'd like to see at least 100 votes on this, so please, vote!!!

That's a tough question so I picked other. If I look at two different modernistic trailers, with different builders, (I really like that style)...they can look really different to me. Maybe it's the execution of the profile, as opposed to the profile itself...

Mike, my favorite is Grant Whipp's modified Benroy AKA Lil Bear.

It does depend how one executes the planned profile whether it's pretty or not.
I really like Doug's American Voyager, The Ken-skill, The Modernistic & The Benroy too. Danny

The Cub/Modernistic is my favorite but a lot of them are sharp if well done.

Kenskill gets my vote. That's why I did my best to copy it, getting as close as my meager building skills would allow.

That's like asking if you like your cornbread made with or without sugar. In the end, there may be a consensus; but not everybody will agree with the outcome. Everybody will have their personal preference depending on many factors. I am curious though to see what the outcome will be.

BTW... I voted for the Slumbercoach even though it is the style I have been able to find the least number of pictures for reference purposes. Something about the lines and the trim tugs at my heart strings.

How can you possibly pick just one?? I like lots of them and it depends a lot on how it is finished, what kind of fenders, and many other things that can make the same profile look very different.

I can't pick one! They're all pretty! :o
