Exercise Anyone?????????????

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Postby iplay10us2 » Sun Feb 15, 2009 5:47 pm

I managed to get in 2 miles with the dogs today. I waited until the sun came out late this afternoon to warm things up a little. It snowed a little last night and was pretty chilly for most of the day.

I threw so much food away, but I just couldn't take the chance that it was still good. But, after 9-10 days without power, I am sure it was spoiled.

So far today I have done a 3 1/2 mile xc ski. It was with others.. and it was a little slow. it was a good muscle and ski workout. [it was icy and crusty and hilly in spots] . It was not much of an aerobic workout though. but thats ok.. I will be going out tonight with another group for a snowshoe.

I just got invited on another mountain bike ride tomorrow. There will be 4 or 5 of us. It will be about double the miles of the rides I did last week. I am fairly fit, but less so than any of them.... :o 3 of them are serious racers. {I used to be} so it might be interesting.

I bet the one workout will be enough for tomorrow. :D

today I did a 2 hour and 12 minute mountain bike ride.. with 4 other guys.. I was in way over my head.. 8)

Hopefully some of my difficulty was because of the 5 hours yesterday.

Other than stretching and such... I will probably not do ANYTHING ELSE the rest of the day...

Exercise

Postby scott and becky » Tue Feb 17, 2009 8:00 pm

I found some good work out music in I Tunes. It's called "Don't Quit Music:Flow and Fexibility". It sure helped me get thru my 60 min. workout yesterday!

I only managed about 2 miles with the dogs today. I took a break between work projects to walk them, but it started drizzling and I turned around to head home because I didn't have the proper weather gear.

20 minute work out is boring. But I did it. One of the things on TV. :?

Heading out to 1.5 hrs. of tennis drills and that will be a good workout. After that, I still have to take the dogs for a walk. Not sure if they will get 3 miles today, but at least 2. It is beautiful weather here today. I really like when I can wear shorts and a t-shirt in February.

I am still deeply wiped out from Monday and tuesdays workouts.

in a 27 hour period I did about 7 1/2 hours of working out.

I did just do a 25 minute fairly easy workout on one of my exercise bikes.

I will now stretch and foam roll..

I just did 10 minutes on the elliptical and 10 on the rower.. then another 10 on the rebounder.

I am still pretty tired from Tuesday.

We will do a snowshoe tonight. On some freshly fallen snow.. :D

Exercise

Postby scott and becky » Thu Feb 19, 2009 9:57 am

I walked two miles to a park on top of a hill. It was a beautiful clear day. I could see all the snow capped peaks surounding Riverside.

I am back from another snowshoe. I only went for an hour tonight.

I still felt really tired from the bike ride.. so shortened it... :(
