This would be a picture of my husband doing the roof work on "our" trailer. :applause:

crisis averted :dancing

For those of you who have never seen my trailer before - No, we're not planning on keeping the palmetto camo - it was the brain child of the previous owner...

That was a fairly accurate description of him before he found out he wasn't getting anymore "naps" unless he was nice to our trailer. :)

(I still think he's a bit jealous of it LOL) :?

I've been watching the ads for a deal on a good trailer frame. Wait til he hears I want him to build us a TD/Standie combo. :bounce:

A therapist chimes in...

Postby tearhead » Mon Aug 24, 2009 10:13 pm

Good going! I have to tell you that I have noticed over the years when working with couples that it's very common for a wife to feel more inclined to "nap" once her husband increases the amount of housework he does. (That's not the objective, it just seems to be a side benefit of her feeling helped.) It's like an aphrodisiac, I swear! Maybe his help on the trailer will produce the same result for you!

Yeah I agree. I think you may have given your husband a bad rap. This looks far more like a picture for the "defense" to me.

Yeah I actually put it up in his defense .... HOWEVER it seems he was up there doing more damage than good. Could it be........sabotage? :frightened:

My trailer has now filed a protective order against him and he is not allowed within 25 feet of her...

Stay tuned for the next juicy episode of "trailer vs. husband"

Why -- did he break something while he was up there?

:x Yeppers...he intentionally seperated a perfectly good seam. I haven't gotten a straight answer on the reason for that.

 He punched a dime sized hole in the middle of the roof with a chissel. (accident so forgiven)

 He cut a 6" or 8" slit in the roof with a saw-zall (also accident, also forgiven)

:x Then he intentionally stood up (and did a little jump) on a spot I asked him not to and popped out the ceiling beams I had just framed in. He was "throwing a fit" because I didn't get him a hammer fast enough.

 This has gone from being a "trailer" issue to a relationship issue so I'm not going to post about it anymore.

 On the bright side - I am going to continue my trailer rebuild with the help of my grown children. Hopefully I will gain enough experience and confidence to build the standie TD of my dreams!

woe... annnd the humorous laughing emoticon has just been disabled.

I seriously hope peace reigns with this project and its hidden joys are "collectively" discovered. Keep an eye on the prize with all the traveling and adventure that lies ahead when you're done.

Truly... :beautiful:

:? Hoo-boy, that's a lot more than mere thoughtlessness on your husband's part. I'm so sorry--sounds like you're in a bad situation. Please take care.
