GPMN-Product Testing Report

Postby tears4mama » Fri Sep 25, 2009 3:08 pm

I received my "G.G."! I ordered it on the 18th. Rec'd a shipment notice on the 22 and it got here today 25th. I am glad our camping plans changed. I wouldn't have had any chances for camp testing.

I ordered 3 initially to share with my sister. Now I am rethinking that.

Initial test.
GG packaging is easily held in the hand. Making for discreet runs to the facilities [wherever they may be]. Following directions and putting thumb and index finger on the minuses directing flow is easy with no unwanted drips. The hardest thing after use was getting it back into it's handy tube. I am sure this will get easier with time. I was skeptical if it would work for me, due to I am a plus size woman! That does not cause any complications with use.

My plans now are to take this on next weeks camping trip. I will teach dd age 8 to use this device as well and report back. I also think I will keep one in my purse, one in my overnight kit, and one in my car.

That's great news. My other concern was that it would fill up faster than it was emptying

These things might put an end to us women having to "hover" over public toilets.

I'm ordering.

Yaknow, all these guys lurking in the chick spot. First the personals and now the pee. Kinda makes me wonder.

Don't they have any tools that need to be used somewhere! ;)

:) :) :) :)

Thanks for the testimonial. I just ordered a 3 pack and used a $1.00 coupon. If anyone else plans on ordering, use the coupon code ACTIVEGIRL, even if you order just one.

Thanks for the review! I just read the other thread and was wondering how it all came out (no pun intended).

Thanks for the feedback! What were your thoughts on the cleanup factor? Was it relatively mess less?
I'm getting tempted......

Becca please chime in here also once yours arrives and you have had a chance to do some product testing...

Oh..BTW....what does GPMN mean??

Clean up

Because of the silicone very little urine sticks to the side. So it's kinda like I taught my son while I was potty training him. "Give it a little shake." :bounce:

Sinks are already the nastiest places in the universe. Worse than the toilet. Rinsing sterile urine with water doesn't bother me. Followed by washing with soap and water. There is some tp rolled up with the package as well as a baggie. The hardest thing is getting it back in the tube that it came in.

Hi, Tears4Mama:

Thanks for your efforts (pun) and testing. I'm thinking one could take several of these so that, if they were on a really ong drive, they wouldn't have to worry about reusing a dirty one.

Perhaps the thing to do is to put the package and its contents in a zip-lock bag. That way, you could get them "home", clean them, and toss the ZL baggies (or clean them too). Anyway, you wouldn't want to discard the tissue on the side of the road or such.....Is the baggie that comes with it a zip-lock style?

I guess we don't reuse our underwear from one bathroom trip to another? :)
It really is not dirtier. Not smelly. Not wet. Really!

:o I guess the tissue is an issue. Maybe we need some non-see-through, baggies. As for the drips I suggest some ordinary mini-pads. No guys they are not for you. They come in lil pink wrappers......... 8)

I'm still unclear. This thing does not collect urine, but just "directs" it away from my socks? A dress is required?

 I am betting a dress would get in the way, but yes it directs it away from you and your socks if you are not down hill........... Or facing the wind :?
