The ECN starts as early as August 3, so a late July gathering might be just the ticket.

What about July 29 through August 1? This would be an ideal time for me since I'm going to the ECN and this is right on the way.

Let me know your comments on these dates.

I'd like to confirm that Whitewater State Park (Liberty, IN) will be the site for our Summer gathering 2010.

Sites TBD
I know it's early and it's hard to plan 6 months ahead...but, are there any known conflicts with the dates of July 29-Aug 1, 2010.

I still would like to visit the campground. Anyone who wants to go along, please step up.
After the weather breaks (whenever that is), I'd like to take a road trip to see the area.

Whitewater State Park is a very nice park with plenty of water all around. Brookville Lake has some good fishing. My wife and I have stayed there a few times tent camping. Nice open campground. I should have my camper done by then. Hopefully I can join you then.

Whitewater State Park (Liberty, IN) will be the site for our Summer gathering 2010.
July 29-Aug 1, 2010
Sites 121-165

Scott, Amy & I visited Whitewater State Park today and found some good sites for the gathering. (see above)

You should begin making your reservations as soon as you can since the park is already showing reserved sites for our gathering weekend.

Scott will be making the "Map" for the attendance but here is a link to the sites (Section "B").

Electric sites.

Reservations.

John, I'm doing a similar thing. I'll be staying Thursday-Sunday (leaving Monday) to visit an old high school buddy in Morehead, KY on the way to the ECN for arrival on Tuesday.

I'll be in site #142 at Whitewater.

You guys do like to keep me busy, Let the counting began.
Better book this one soon as these are nice spots and it looks like this camp ground might book quick.

The sites you see down the middle are all pull through sites and pretty large the ones along the right side are not pull through but still of good size.
I don't think I saw a sloped site in the section.

I just received word from Tom & Debbie Robbins that they will be in site # 140 at Whitewater.

Most of us met Tom & Debbie at Madison. They had a brand new Camp-Inn with all the bells and whistles.

Glad to see that they are coming.Image

Looks like they had a fun trip.

I know it's about 2 1/2 months away, but is anyone else considering going to White Water State Park?

Bob, don't wait too long. While Scott and I were there in Mid April, the other loops where already filling up for late July.

That's one of the reasons we picked these sites.

Yes wouldn't wait very long middle of the summer sites book up a lot faster than May gatherings and I don't think there's a bad site in the section.
