I never expected to find the bike I thought I wanted!!!

I never expected to find the bike I thought I wanted!!!

I wanted a road bike, with flat bars, and a suspension fork with lockout, and a suspension seatpost. I wanted it to be lightweight, and fast. Oh and I wanted it to seat a little more upright like a comfort bike.

I was going to the weight weenies website, figuring I'd build up a low 20's carbon mtn bike. But mtn bike geometry wasn't working for me.

An LBS in the next town suggested a 29er, but didn't have one in my size.

Lo and behold, the LBS in my hometown had just the thing for me...

Are you ready for this?

It's got everything I was looking for.

Cool Mike, I know all too well how that search can be.

When you know exactly what you want... you're not "shopping around" -you're just trying to find the damn thing.

Very sweet Cannondale. Did you take those pics yourself? If so, nice photography. What kind of camera do you have?

Yea, trying to find the darn this was a challenge...

As for the camera, it's a Cannon Rebel XSi.

Mike...

P.S. I'm surprised Glenn, the resident bike guru didn't jump in yet...

The Ti wasn't available when I bought my camera, 2 or 3 years ago... :(

This is scary, Ti versus XTi. One is a bike frame material and one is a camera. Since I now know you are talking about the bike frame material, they did not have the Quick CX Ultra in Ti. I would have to have a custom made frame if I wanted Ti that that configuration. $> $>

Nice looking bike.. and so much better to find what you want.. vs having it built. well at least it is easier and less expensive.

Although mine is for mountain bike use.. I love my 29er :D

enjoy...
