Lead slowed down as directed, however instead of coasting he applied a bit of brake. I touched his rear wheel and in .5 second was on the ground.

.5 seconds? It usually doesn’t take that long!

Darwin was way ahead of his time!

2 summers ago, a friend and I were coming down a grade doing north of 25 mph. My buddy’s front tire slipped off the right side of the road which had a 2 inch lip. When he turned back to the left the bike went out from under him. I was riding ahead and didn’t see it but I did HEAR it. Ka-Rack. That helmet gave its life to save my buddy’s brain that day. I keep thinking without a helmet, the sound would have been the same, but his skull would not!

If anyone out there is thinking they don’t need a helmet, well I shouldn’t say, but let’s just say you’re wrong and start wearing one today. I just takes that one bad fall (even from a standstill) to do some serious brain damage.

Saw a guy go over his handlebars on Sunday at my friends race. He bent his front rim but came out o.k.
Just not sure why people don't want to wear helmets
