I have read about it. It will take a while for me to plan for it as it is out of my neck of the woods
I do want to do it though, maybe next year
I quit society when I found out toothpicks came with instructions

RAGBRAI 2010

Postby b1kebox » Thu Jul 22, 2010 8:39 pm

Rode it in 2007 as a member of the Air Force Cycling team (50 anniversary of the USAF and 35th for RAGBRAI). We overnighted in Cedar Falls and rode through Waterloo (an overnight town this year) the next morning.

Registration is by lottery which opens in late autumn for the following July. Interesting to do once, but not worth a two day drive to get there to do every year. That said, my son wants to do it next year, so it may be Virginia to Iowa again.

Did it with the family and had a great vacation.

Met and talked with some of the air force people. Great group and they helped out many people.
