See you ladies along the way.....

Hi Carol!!!

Joanne here! I haven't gotten around to sending you a note since last weekend, but I wanted to say Thanks for coming out to the Boy Scout Expo! Although it was a long day, it sure was fun. It seems like doing the turkey dinner has become a tradition. (a fun one at that)

Is the trip still on? You sounded a bit concerned that your GD might be miffed at you. I really hope that you two make the trip and have a great time.

Be careful and have fun!

Joanne

P.S. - taking any Dutch Ovens along?

Geesh. I never thought of that, so thanks for the heads up. I don't think I will add a 3rd brake light right now, but the other posts did concern me.

I wonder how many have been rear-ended because of no 3rd light, though?

I have always gone alone on my trips. I have seen most of the state parks in central FL and the Keys so far. My favorite campground is Little Talbot Island, near Amelia Island as the big rigs can't get in there. It is a small campground with only 41 sites.

Hi Ladies,

I'm a newbie and right now I tent camp and have for a few years. Just at the thinking stage of getting a camper. TDs are on my list to explore but I'm still not sure when I'll be seriously in the market.

I've only camped alone once and that was last year. I was in a well patroled park but still felt uneasy but everythig went fine.

The stories here and safety tips are encouraging. Thanks for posting.
