Oh, to be 18 and indestructible again . . .

Hell, what am I saying? I don't even like to dive head-first into a pool, much less dive in at 35 mph from 30 feet! It looks like fun, but I will leave this to those who laugh at breakage.
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

I wish. I'd be doing that in a heartbeat.

I suspect that was not just some random neighborhood gathering with the gang down at the pond. That video was way too polished and those "kids" were way too good - relatively speaking. Your average kid on a BMX bike hoping off curbs would not be able or willing to do those stunts. Given their skill level to reduce the risk of, oh saaay, breaking your neck... I guess it would be fun.

It wasn't my neck that came to mind while thinking about doing those stunts. My mind was on parts further south. :o

I would have done it at 18. Now, too old and soft.

There was another video, same pond, and a girl fell just as she got to the ramp, and her face slid the entire length of the ramp as she went into the pond. The "after" shot was not too pretty. They also showed several guys landing on the bike. Painful!

Although VERY entertaining, hopefully, as they they grow older they will find better things to do with our time and money - like, maybe, build a TD (?)

Great filming and camera work on it.

You could feel the fun and thrill of it all for them from it.

Definitely an activity for the youth segment of the population.
