Cannondale Rear suspension

Bicycles for campers, rvers, or just riding around where ever you are

Okay, I bought my last mountain bike in '94, and still ride it. I hate displaying my ignorance on a forum, but what is a 29er?
God Bless

The wheel is a 29" wheel as opposed to the standard 26" wheels that are on most mountainbikes

Twice in about 100 feet for a freind of mine

My bet is he got the same flat by not finding and pulling out the protruding offender stuck in his tire. I see that all the time.

Yes, he had a thorn in the tire. I run Kevlar tires on my mountain bike and so far have been lucky. Run them on my road bike too actually. more expensive, but well worth it.

I am running tubeless.. and actually I burped a front tire a couple of weeks ago.

I was not far from the truck.. and went back to it, but I was able to re-seat it with a floor pump. :( it took a compressor.

I stupidly did not have a kit on the bike... I do now.. and include a tube.. :D

I am on the fence about going tubeless...mostly because of the expense

Have you tried it?

A few years ago.. when they were first getting popular, on a ride, a co-worker changed front wheels with a guy.. just so this guy could feel what a tubeless tire felt like. The next day the guy came in and ordered a set up.
