Always enjoy you castiron cooking videos. My brother and sister and I always have a castiron competition at our summer family camp and he just doesn't understand where all my inspiration comes from. And I'm not telling either, :D Thanks Doug

Dean and Nanny, I love your videos, and I watch them all.

I am a BBQ fanatic, and have a backyard full of grills and smokers. I'm sure those ribs taste great, but I'm skeptical about the smoking part.

I hope someday to get out there and cook with you two. You with your dutch ovens, and me with my smokers. I reckon we would all gain a few pounds.

Thanks for another video that is well worth watching. I will be smoking some fatties tomorrow. Google "fatty", and come up with some dutch oven fatties.

Glen,
I too love layin' the smoke to meats... The cherry flavor came through just fine but was a bit on the mild side, as I had my taste buds all preset for hickory. When I went to soak the chips, I discovered my hickory stash was all used up.
It was a fun video... We were tickled that our friend Fiona, very shy and bashful, agreed to share.

Ribs

Postby The Teardrop Nanny » Sat Jan 01, 2011 1:33 am

Hi all, and thanks for the ++ feedback.
I love ribs pretty much any way, except maybe with wasabi coating :o

And Dean's back yard area has lots of grills....got to narrow 'em down one at a time.

CD, would be honored to met and cook with a fellow threadkiller/ TK (topper king) and rib fan. Did you buy that lottery ticket yet?

Ate good tonight and more dutch oven cooking in the morning New Year, mountain man dish on the menu.

Jean,

Even from all the way across the country I can tell they have something far better than marriage. They seem to have each other. (oops, I made me cry)
