Triumph Folding Bike

Postby Cliffmeister2000 » Fri Jan 14, 2011 4:27 pm

This Triumph City Star Folding Bike is at a thrift store near me. $100.00. I have no idea of its value (if any).

If anybody has interest, I would be more than happy to assist.

Sorry for the poor quality photos. They are from my phone.

Gee, Cliff...I'm lookin into a bicycle fer peddlin my arse around the camp sites. A folding bike would be great, but $100 ???!!! At a thrift store no less?

I dunno what that particular brand of bike is worth, but in this economy....I'm guessin NOT SO MUCH...

YOU always find the deals ! Good lookin out oh thrifty one !

I had a bike that looked exactly the same, it just had a different name on it. I don't recall.. but it might have been a Puch.

I put baskets and used back and forth hauling tools while building our house. When we were done doing that. I gave it some a kid with a paper route.

In a quick search online.. I did not find any info on it... but I agree $100 sounds quite high.

I haven't been able to find anything on it either... I did find a photo of a Cinzia in Europe that looks pretty close except paint color, welded rack and white wall tires

folding bike

Postby queeniejeanne » Sat Jan 15, 2011 6:13 pm

Cliff, just bought a Green Bike., folding with bag. $169.00, new. rides great and folds easily and I can lift it onto a rack or into the back of my FJ easily.
Got it on Amazon with no shipping in November. ......One of our guys had one at Petite Jean AR and I rode it an loved it...it was a Citizen. He'd had it several years and the center folding part had locked up in the fold out position, thank goodness  ./
