Colorado Camping Anyone?

Postby canonsue » Mon Apr 04, 2011 6:58 am

I plan to take my new Little Guy out for it's first camping trip starting April 21st. If anyone would like to join me, please let me know. I am thinking, of a couple of nights in Rocky Mountain National Park then a couple of nights at Pawnee National Grassland or maybe Jackson Lake State Park. Nothing is set in stone yet.

I have from the 21st-27th for vacation.

It would be fun to have a few others if anyone from the Colorado or Wyoming group would like to join me.

Thanks,

-Sue

We'd love to join you, since it's not too far away but I'll be out of town.

Pam and Bruce,
I am thinking that I will be at Moraine Park campground in Rocky Mountain National Park. (21st-24th) The campground is open year around. I have wanted to spend more time in the park and doing it off season will beat the crowds.

I may leave from there on Monday to go to Pawnee.

It would be fun if you can come on the weekend. I would love meeting all of you.

Oops, that's Easter weekend, we already canceled a trip so we could be with Mom's that day. I better not schedule another trip.... :(

Well it looks like it is still a bit cold this week for RMNP. I guess I will need to go south for warmer weather.

Message me through the board if any one still wants to meet up.

I have not left yet as Meyers Ranch fire is about 2 miles from my house. News said 20% contained. I will probably leave tomorrow.

I am tentatively planning on Minden. I have a big project due that week and if completed, then I will go. If not completed, then I would need to work that weekend.

Hi Colorado Teardroppers,
I am looking for a teardrop gathering in the Colorado Mtn. this July. Have attended many teardrop events in Arizona, Nevada and California these past two years and planning a return to the Rocky Mtn. region this summer. I am a potter and have been bringing cups, mugs, bowls, etc. with teardrop designs to the events. Would love to hear about what is going on this summer.
Mary, Cattle Track Pottery and teardropper (2010 Silver Shadow "Little Guy").
:) P.S. I love fly fishing and will be traveling with a canoe.

How about Crow valley Campground in sometime in July? I'll spring for the campground if we can get 4 more trailers to go.

Crow Valley in July sounds good. Count me in. It is very close to Jane.

I work Sunday-Thursday, so I could camp Thursday evening to mid-day on Saturday.
