$179.99 today only sale
Deal of the day email list price

Can an oven like this be "built in" or do the sides require great clearances in construction?
Anyone know?

Anyone use this unit or equivalent?
Always with my thanks,
Eric

...according to the add, it is 229.99...here is the daily price at Sportsmans Guide... http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=421617 ...although, the one you link to has a built in grill in place of one of the burners... ...may want two burners instead BUT???

...and yes, many here have used and love that stove...don't believe it can be built in BUT????????

Deal of the day "coupon code" brings it down.
THX for SG list I am a member there too.

So it seems it might be regularly available at a price point of under $200.

So built in....
Maybe give it some additional clearance and use flame retardant insulation?

My thought is to build it in the kitchen hatch area in a "semi" permanent manner. I just don't want to have to move it out to use and move it back in to travel or secure at night.
Always with my thanks,
Eric

I have seen it built on slides and it probably wouldn't take much clearance, especially if insulated materials were used around it...one of those flat fireplace backs might work quite well for that purpose..........

Cabinet is zero clearance However......

I am lining around the one in my chuckwagon with a piece of 3x5 cement board. It's only about 1/4 to 3/8 thick and makes an excelent heat deflector.

It just reminds me of those pictures that get taken of me and I don't know it till I get them back, and there I am doing some mundane task. (yes, I still use film while traveling, had a close call with the $200 digital while hiking, disposables ever since)
