recumbent trike

I was wondering if the two front axles were the same as a normal axle or are they different cause they carry the load to one side :?

It depends on what stile trike you have. (I think) Here's mine. Not the same axle as a normal bike

thats what I thought but does that mean you can put the front axles on either side or are they strictly a right and left

Yep, they're reversible. Many homebuilders use 20mm downhill disk brake hubs.

That's a 20 mm diameter axle. I'd suggest dropping Ashley and crew at Utah Trikes a line. They've done a ton of cool mods, and are great at helping out with ideas.
