We currently have a cat. He's an indoor guy, and he doesn't travel with us. Not because we don't want him with us, but he's old and set in his ways, and doesn't deal well with changes of scenery. Our next animal will be a dog, specifically so we can take him with us when we camp and travel to see family. That'll enable us to go away for more than three or four days at a time. And it's easier to find someone to dog-sit if the need should arise, as most of our friends here have dogs.

Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy. - Eskimo proverb
