I rode to the "event", its usually what kills me, and I get dropped later. Its a good uphill, then into the wind at the crest. 5mi. @ 19.5 avg... then with the group much easy-er ( drafting behind 30 guys ) 48mi @ ~23avg... ~ 2 hrs. A nice easy downhill ride home @ 13Avg. "We" picked up the ( older ) guy on the blue/grey lemond going into ostrander, droped him going toward delaware,( tailwind, so speeds up in the 30's ) then picked him up, again into ostrander. ( must have cut it short, and turned around. ) I dont blame him its fun to get sucked along at 28mph, without really*working*, its a different story on the climbs... its a good gradual climb from the river/257 up into ostrander, same for my commute to the ride.
