The 2+2 High Modified

Postby Fishingtomatoseed » Sun Aug 28, 2011 7:14 pm

Well here is the start of the process. The overall dim. is 14'x6'x6'. It will be able to sleep 4-6. and have some room to cook and hangout. Across from the door was thinking about cab. with ref. and a/c made in. What do yall think?

i dig the design...

regarding a name, that's something the camper has made me think about while building it... IMHO it's better to let your creation name itself...

I'm a noob here so forgive me, but is naming trailers more common than not in this community? I always just called mine "the teardrop." At the risk of being unoriginal, I was thinking about calling my next one the same thing...

Love the little 'rabbit holes' for the kids to wriggle into bed....

Why not put several round windows, and call it The Submarine

So I change the profile up a little to go more with the Sub theme. I will drop the floor in the entry to gain a little more head room. Image

You should also try to incorporate a periscope into your design scheme.

I was thinking about putting a reciver hitch on the back for a bike rack. But it could also hold the chrome boat propeller. :D

Clint,

That is a super cool design. I love the portholes and the whole submarine theme. Perfect!

Take care,

You have to paint it yellow, and have Beatles music blaring .

Wonder how you could get it to move around and sealed up?

There was a periscope thread awhile back. I was gonna try to make one out of pvc pipe. I bought the pvc but I never got around to making it. I was going to use 1 1/2" and 2" pvc pipe. The 1 1/2" would telescope out of the 2" with a cap that would fit over the 2" pipe. Maybe one of these days I'll finish it when I have extra time.
