Just curious if there are any of you out there that have/will be bringing your Waffle dog irons to LCGVI ??? Thought we might have a 'cook-off' so to speak if there are..........I WILL have ours there & trying new recipes (hopefully they work - ha ha)

Well, as Doug Hodder does, we need to have a 'Waffle Dog cook-off' (ha) and show them just how WE can do it............I have tried Blueberry Waffle Dogs, Sausage waffle dogs, cheese waffle dogs, and waffle waffle dogs.....hmmm.....guess that one was just the batter (ha).

Next on the list: Jalapeno waffle dogs, bologna waffle dogs, bacon waffle dogs...........any ideas out there ????? Or a combo: Jalapeno-Bologna-Bacon-Cheese......hmmmm (not sure if all that stuff will stay in one - ha)

Let's see how many we can get together next weekend!!

I didn't realize they were so rare. I found mine in a salvation army store a few years ago for $2. I couldn't believe what they are going on eBay for.
I guess I'll have to get it out and use it.

I'm with you, Thomas! What is a waffle dog? A flat weenie?
Now I have to do a search on the internet to see.

Try twix candy bars ( delish) but you need to put the batter in first. The choclate melts into the waffle a bit and thier really good.

Hey, guys. Let's do Waffle Dogs for lunch on Saturday. If everybody brings theirs and we put on a pot of regular hotdogs too. That would be lunch.
I will try to find sticks and bring some pancake mix - bring your wieners and anything special you want to try out.
Let's get a fire going at the party site and meet there at High Noon!

I'm lookng forward to figuring out how to cook them waffle dogs!
