IRG 4.0 2012 Coleman light up info...

Postby doug hodder » Sun Jan 15, 2012 11:31 pm

On this thread...please post what you think are the number of lanterns that you potentially are going to bring for the light up at the IRG. Please note what are white gas, propane, or wick kero, LED's....It will really help us out in where to stage the whole event. Lee and I would really appreciate it.

I know it seems like a load of BS...but it's a whole lot of pressurized fuel and flames....we just want everyone to have a good time, and no injuries.

You got like 6 months to get squared away on the operation on your lantern....just do it.

For the rules and regulations on it all....please check the thread in the General Discussion area...hope we can break a record! Doug

Thank You Doug & Lee,
I really like the wave format of adding other types of lanterns to the cluster.
I will try to have four white gas lanterns for the light up, two for sure.

As mentioned previously, IF we can get 'em burning at the Dam Gathering, I'll have two white gas ones, and if I can talk Kay into it, we'll bring her propane one, too.

This is gonna be fun ... ...!

Woo hoo! Count me in on the third wave with 1 propane and 1 battery lantern

i am going to start looking for a white gas lantern, and will learn to use it before the IRG...

doug, you're available for home visits for tutoring, repairs, BEFORE the IRG? ;)

doug. I am probaly not going to be there due to the recesson and the REAL life of a victom of the recesson.

but I think you guys are going to see a lot of births of NEW coleman collectors!!!!!!!!!!

this will be a fun thing and at "WALK THE WINDS" 2012.

in wyoming me and woodbutcher here in august are hopeing to set up

something simalar even though

it might just be my lanterns 2 and how many steve wants to bring to the wyoming teardrop gathering.

I can add my table lamp to the line up as well.

slowcowboy.

oh. yea doug if you guys can get any one to bring table lamps to the white gas line up I think that will add to the charm of your light up.

table lamps put out so much more light than lanterns and are a LOT older and more vintage than a lantern.

they would really add the scene to the white gas line up.

You can' t find that guy that had the big chandeler in the photos for like last year.

that had the big 4 manlte white gas table lamp???????????

Yeah...I hope some people bring table lamps, or some hollow wire stuff...that's in the first wave. The real issue with them is the glass shades on them and transporting them safely.

So far, and Dave A hasn't said anything yet, we have 47-52 total, includes propanes and battery powered. I know that Kevin Dave and Scott will certainly add to the numbers. Doug
