IRG 4.0 2012 Coleman light up info...

Postby doug hodder » Sun Jan 15, 2012 11:31 pm

On this thread...please post what you think are the number of lanterns that you potentially are going to bring for the light up at the IRG. Please note what are white gas, propane, or wick kero, LED's....It will really help us out in where to stage the whole event. Lee and I would really appreciate it.

I know it seems like a load of BS...but it's a whole lot of pressurized fuel and flames....we just want everyone to have a good time, and no injuries.

You got like 6 months to get squared away on the operation on your lantern....just do it.

For the rules and regulations on it all....please check the thread in the General Discussion area...hope we can break a record! Doug

Thank You Doug & Lee,
I really like the wave format of adding other types of lanterns to the cluster.
I will try to have four white gas lanterns for the light up, two for sure.

As mentioned previously, IF we can get 'em burning at the Dam Gathering, I'll have two white gas ones, and if I can talk Kay into it, we'll bring her propane one, too.

This is gonna be fun ... ...!

I'll have 2 white gas lanterns and maybe one more if I can acquire a case for my 242C for the long trip. :D Danny

Woo hoo! Count me in on the third wave with 1 propane and 1 battery lantern

i am going to start looking for a white gas lantern, and will learn to use it before the IRG...

Yeah...I hope some people bring table lamps, or some hollow wire stuff...that's in the first wave. The real issue with them is the glass shades on them and transporting them safely.

So far, and Dave A hasn't said anything yet, we have 47-52 total, includes propanes and battery powered. I know that Kevin Dave and Scott will certainly add to the numbers. Doug

Table lamps??? Well, can I bring my floor lamp, as long as I bring a long enough extension cord?? Haven't had it out camping since the Glyphs a few years back!!
