Congratulations on your new Silver Shadow! I know you must be so excited! But we need pictures, pictures and more pictures! Please. :pictures: :pictures: :pictures:

I've got chili pepper lights that I hang around the tongue of my camper so I don't hear screams and bad words coming out of my mouth....or other campers mouths. ;)

Hi,
I'm baffled as to how to upload the pictures. I can grab them from iphoto, but the sizes are too large. We're super excited and have a trip to Bar Harbor booked for July. Once I catch up to the technology I'll happily post the pictures. It's so nice to have a place to share the excitement!

Jacquie:

Have you tried using PhotoBucket? Free, lots of space, stores your pics, and resizes them. http://www.photobucket.com. Check your options to make sure it will resize them to the correct size. It's easier for me rather than using a resizing program.

Normal disclaimer-- I have no financial connection to them and I receive nothing from them, etc.

Hi,
I have not yet tried PhotoBucket. The picture of the teardrop we bought is the 5 x 8 Silver Shadow from Dan Kearney in Rutland, VT. His son Joe took a picture of us with the teardrop attached to the FJ before we left for home. I've gone in to take measurements for curtains for the doors and stargazer windows, but right now it's hiding under a tarp. We don't want a crabby neighbor to complain about it. Oh the joy of homeowner's associations! Once all of our garden beds and lattices are put up we can take the tarp off and take as many pictures as we'd like. :)

OK, here's what I did to get your galley pic posted here:

Since I didn't have "permission" (your login), I right clicked on this pic in your photobucket. I clicked on "properties", and then I copied the address (URL). Then, I pasted that URL in this thread. At the beginning of the URL, type "img" inside brackets before the URL, and type "/img" inside brackets after the URL.

Honestly, does this help? If not, I'll try explaining another way.

And adding photo's in your signature?

I did it the way I do in as above but in the signature it came up a ? with a blue box around it.

So I just put the place you can find it.

What am I doing wrong?

After watching RV Crazy it was a mutual decision, I was however the one that decided which one, Mega Mini #1.

I had lost track of this thread--it's really fun! Oddly, the light dawned simultaneously for us. We had gone to the auto museum in Hartford WI (fun, it's in an old Kissel car factory--takes about an hour to see). Anyway, they had a steam locmotive out back on the second floor and we went out to see that and right next to it was a vintage teardrop, all tricked out. I made an offhand comment to Mark, "That looks like us." He agreed and we looked it over pretty carefully. That would have been the end of it except that he saw a tear being towed somewhere the week after. He thought it looked new, so that caused me to start investigating online, and I found the RV Crazy video and this website. We both became totally hooked immediately. We were going to build but couldn't wait, so we bought one. It's good that we're both so into it.
