Weather channel says tornado in Norman....Is everyone ok?

I don't live in Norman but watched the t.v. coverage this afternoon. Some structural damage, roofs torn off, etc. Trees uprooted and power lines and limbs down. 10 injuries, no fatalaties. 5,000 without power.

More severe weather forecasted for next few days.

Just got through the tornado reports and one thing stuck out!
In a number of cases the sirens were knocked out and folks were NOT warned, and in reality sirens are only good for outside, unless you live under one!
Those that had weather warn radios were warned, if you do not have one get one!
We have a Recom http://www.reecominc.com which I bought to go with us in the tear and at home, the one thing that separates itself from other weather warn radios is that it goes on standby after making a warning.
