What ever happened to the New York teardrop group? Are they still out there.

I'm still here. It seems that the main activities are Camp ADK events, and conversations have moved to Dave's site and TearUp Facebook page.
The NYS Tearjerkers have been piggy-backing with the ADK events.

Saw Mark and Gail at the Raystown Resort (Liberty Bell) last weekend. They are planning a Niagra Falls gathering next June. See link for details.

Glad to hear your still here. I dont plan on joining facebook, so I guess I'll be out of the loop.
We were looking forward to the fall teardown and seeing everyone, but I guess we allready missed it.

Hey Wayne
Not much for Facebook; I'm out of the loop also. Are you aware that the TearUp reservation frenzy has started?
I missed The Canadian trip.(TearDown?) I didn't know that there was a small outing at Fish Creek until after the fact.
I must have missed the invitation.

Steve
I came across your web site (again) the other night. After studying your work into the wee hours of the night,I had to call it good. After two hours looking at the PC screen my brain starts to wiggle.
Awesome job on the Rondack!
Did you ever get a final weight on that trailer?

If Morgans tests are at the same time as last year, we will miss Fish creek again.

But we will be going to the beach and to see more boats. 8)

The trailer weighs #1800 plus or minus, depending on what I bring.

You know, we are always looking for an excuse to go out; let us know if you would like to meet some weekend. Doesn't need to be a big event.

Sorry guys- didn't mean to keep anyone out of the loop on a fall camping trip but I posted on the TearJerker board a few weeks ago that there wouldn't be a fall trip, but there was someting in the works for next spring( mid May as usual). ;)

Rick
Why was the fall camping trip cancelled anyways. To us it was the best trip to end the season on, see old friend's before the winter season sets in.
Maybe next year we can get something going?

I agree with wayne, I loved to do the tear-up or the Adk and then to end it all the tear down. Then through out the season I camped where I wanted. Looked forward to the tear down to end it all and bid our camping friends good-by. :)

It wasn't really cancelled, just figured the trip to Murphy's Point in Canada at the end of August would cover it. I guess It's my bad for not posting it on the TJ site but it wasn't a TJ event so I thought the info on facebook would cover it. Most all the usual suspects were there and we had a great time. If anybody is interested we'll be at UpCountry Family Campground in West Amboy next weekend for a quick overnighter(sat) with the Haynes' for our last trip of the season. All are welcome.

Rick, we're camping at a vintage small rally in Vermont this weekend. About 13 trailers. Then we head south in nov., the problem with posting on Facebook alot of people don't use Facebook, I do and keep track on there but Allan and Leslie from mass, never go on there. Keep me posted while I'm in the south about the spring, pick a place without so many bugs, lol :worship:

Rick
Thanks for the invite. We might try to get one more trip in this year, if we do it will probably be close to home.

I'm with Mary on this one.

All of you travel safely and enjoy the coming winter. :)
