Garage Sale Find

Postby Sonoma ZR2 » Sat May 05, 2012 8:26 pm

I was out for the city wide garage sales in town. Yesterday I was walking up to the last sale I was going to stop @ and I see not one but two kid bike trailers. I've been looking for one but didn't want a department store one. One was a department store trailer the other one was a Burley trailer. They wanted just $21 for it and it is in perfect condition. Considering that trailer goes for $300 new. I was really happy with that find.

Cool. Our daughter's bike trailer will now haul cargo (If/when we get our lard butts back in the saddle), and she's at the point (5yo) where a trail-a-bike is our best bet.
She'll get her own bicycle, but for longer rides, we'll want her hooked up.

spacer: are you aware that there is a backrest option for the trail-a-bikes. I got one for our grandaughter. It goes on the seat post and has two quick release straps to go around the kid so they can't fall off. I've seen kids fall asleep on the back of a bike or in the trailer when they don't have to do the pedaling themselves.
