AutoCad ATV drawing

Postby iamcarriesue » Mon Apr 03, 2006 2:49 pm

Does anyone have a semi accurate profile or 3D model autocad drawing of an ATV? or know where I could get one?

thanks

Dear Karen,
You can check in the design library link above or use the search feature.

Here is a link to the design library from Angib. http://www.angib.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/teardrop/tear00.htm

No, and if you do find one, Sod's Law says it'll be a different size from one you have.

If you are trying to model an ATV that you have, the easiest way is to take a photo of it and import/paste the photo into the CAD system and trace over it. You need one accurate measurement on the ATV (eg, wheelbase, overall length) to be able to scale the photo correctly. Some programs offer an auto-trace feature (a raster-to-vector conversion), but I've never seen one worth using.
