Does anyone have a bike rack on their TD?

Postby glidergider » Sat Dec 15, 2012 8:33 pm

I'd love to see some pictures of bike racks on your TD. Any preference to the front or back of the TD?
I did some searching in the forum, but no luck find any pictures.

Thanks

There is a thread part way down the page here.. about hauling bikes and Teardrops. Some of the solutions are not what you are asking for, but some are.

I think the best way to transport a bike on the TD is to use a slide in reciever. I have one on our trailer and we have hauled our trikes from Arizona to Idaho and back with no problems.

Here's a shot of our set up that took us up to Idaho. I have since changed out racks. We now use a DraftMaster and have been very happy with it. The DraftMaster and the ATOC require a slide in reciever. Having a reciever welded on should be something most trailers should be able to have done. I can't imagine going somewhere without my trike or bike.

I had a reciever welded onto my Little Guy and put a bike rack on it... and a cargo tray..and a BBQ...the possibilities are seemingly endless.
