Just ordered a Miami based on your recommendation. They do seem very reasonably priced - I would have liked the Dahon Formula S18 or Pacific Cycles IF Reach but not for 7-8x the price.

We plan on throwing it in the TD for our trip to the Dam Gathering this year. Thanks for the info.

Rule #12 // The correct number of bikes to own is n+1.
While the minimum number of bikes one should own is three, the correct number is n+1, where n is the number of bikes currently owned. This equation may also be re-written as s-1, where s is the number of bikes owned that would result in separation from your partner.

Hey jon we will look for your bike, ours will be there too! What color? By the by, they benefit from a professional tune up after you get them put together. Randy's was fine, but mine had a brake dragging and randy just couldn't get it for me. We are lucky, we have the reno bike project close by. They fix up used bikes for low cost or free for kids and adults who need transportation, they also teach you how to work on your bike if you like. They also sell a lot of bikes to burners going to burning man, then buy them back. That is there major fund raiser. This year i got a new brake cable and tune up for $20!

Ours are flamingo and olive green

Well since the OP resolved his dilema ...

Might as well throw some fuel on the fire ...

Yep, with bikes you gota cover your bases ...

One road and one mtn. just in case one of your buddies wants to go on a ride ...
full sus, has like 4 verisons ( gih hit/big drop, trail, xc, all arounder ) ... just about the the same for hard tail mtbs ...

Gotta have a townie or a tandem, just incase the GF/wife wants to go on a ride ...

If you are cool enough, a single speed version of each of the above !

Then there are the niche market: fixed gear bikes, fat bikes, the full rigid bikes, cx bikes ...

If you are cool enough, a disc brake version of each !

You could try and kill a couple of ^^^those "birds" with this one "stone":

... oh, almost forgot the new thing is : gravel raod adventire bikes... so a touring bike of a one of those gravel road specific Salsa bikes, sooo add one of those as well.

I lost track, how many is that ? ... Oh jeez, I didnt even get into frame materials yet !!!
Bend the knees, watch the trees, 5$ please.

or if your wife is into as much as one's self.. two of each of those... :D

I seriously want soo many new bikes.. I do really like the sounds of the dirt road bikes.. I do want a Moonlander.. and the new Krampus.. 29er + I would like a new downhill bike.. but don't really go enough to justify.. I would like a new 29er full suspension... but need get back on my current one.. to test that idea.... I would like to have a modern trials bike... and a time trial bike... a time trail tandem... oooh and a tandem fatbike...

Jonw, yes we got the bags, we carry ours in the car and it makes it easier to slide them around.

Camping World just had a sale. I wanted a single speed. It's an Adventurer. I didn't have high hopes, but I love this thing. So easy to fold and store in the carry bag. Got it for under $150, including shipping.

2 years ago I got a 26 inch folder from Bazooka Sports.

Blue Beach Baby

Well it does look like everything they have is sold out. And I think I got their last Beach Baby and I have not seen one on their site since then.

I got it for Burning Man as I did not trust some old junker to hold my fat.......body. I have to say I have not been disappointed. Yes it only has 3 speeds. But it folds so It can go in the TV and not cause air drag. TV has small motor. It has help up well despite my weight that has been up to 280 lbs. I have just come in from doing 5 miles on it. I been trying to get at least 10 miles a day. Also it has held up on the gravel and some dirt around here. And it survived the playa which while looking smooth it has a crack every 6 inches and dust drifts. It has done all I wanted and more. Oh, and I weigh lots more than it is rated for.
