I've progressed past building the frame and now I'm working on the floor.

Boy I sure do like working with wood better than metal. I built the subframe and floor in a weekend. The trailer has taken 2 months so far and I still haven't painted it yet. I ended up adding supports to the open area after I tested it with the decking over it. Not quite strong enough for my big butt. I used 2x2 for the subframe and 1/2" CDX for the floor. I'm off to the garage to build the inside fenders...

Way to go Bruce. I can't wait to see it at the IRG 2.0.

No pressure.

Miriam,
It's 11'x6.5'. Kinda big huh.

Jim,
IRG is the goal. I'll be there even if I'm not done, I mailed my registration last week.

A couple regular doors in the back would be alot simpler than that half/TD hatch..
There’s no place like Foam !

:applause: Great size 8) Now that hatch is gonna be heavy but you will like it on cold nights if you build in the loo. ;)

I was wondering how far along you were Bruce. Looks like it'll be plenty stout. See ya at the IRG! Doug

Bruce, that looks great. I am looking forward to seeing it finished. Is it going to have the outside galley? I am trying to picture the back end but not very good at it. I am learning, thanks to all of you.

Bruce,
Looks great! Are the lights mounted on the rear frame running lights, or actual turn signals?

Miriam and GPW,

No hatch in back, just a door. There'll be a door on the curb side wall too. It will pop up in the back like the Compact.

They are LED turn signals. I haven't decided if that is all I'll use or if I'll mount some more up higher.

Wow! I was just looking at pictures of the frame build, and Voila' pictures of the box cabin. Excellent! and we haven't even seen the inside yet! Looking forward to IRG to see it in person.
