A lot has been going on but nothing to show in the way of photos.

The frame, axle, shackles, plates and UBolts have all been media blasted and sitting at the powder coating shop awaiting color. For the amount of time and money spent to rebuild/fix this old frame, I could have easily bought a brand new trailer....

I have brand new 26" springs and stainless steel fasteners waiting to go...

I also have 2 new 12" wheels on the way.

I need help finding/selecting brake/turn lights for the rear (I welcome suggestings/web links)

and

I need a source for bronze (brass?) Spring Bushings...the white plastic ones look cheesy to me.

Here is my update...I picked up the frame from the powdercoater...nice and silver. I got all new suspension bits and had them powdercoated as well. Here are a few photos of the frame, suspension and my new 12 " alloy Trailer Wheels.

Ok, finally got the suspension mounted permanently (tip: install the leaf spring on the solid mount part first, THEN install the shackles at the rear...

Also got the mounting holes for the floor drilled and situated (I hope 8 bolts holding the floor to the frame is enough).

And finally cut my profile out ..... behold:

I hit up both HomeDepot and Lowes Friday and picked up 1/4 Ply and some 3/4" foam board to begin my sandwich wall construction.

I finally made a decision for my doors...bought a set of premade aluminum/FibreGlass doors from a fellow T&TTT Member....a quick ship from down-south and here are the results:

Looking Real Nice Ohio :) I really like the Silver color frame and great looking wheels as well. Im having the frame on our Lil Swan powder coated too and thought about using black but now seeing yours I may just go silver as well. Time will tell.

Great Job :applause: :applause:

Thanks for the comments and encouragement!

All the silver that you see is actually powdercoat, not paint. The frame has cost a fortune so far, but worth it to me.

That frame is the foundation of your build and you may not get a another chance to modify it - so indeed it looks well engineered to meet you needs. BTW - them wheels will not be suitable for your design - so send them to me for proper disposal  ;)

Hello Das Bald Guy: I am a buckeye, too. I am glad you are building your TD. It looks like it is coming along nicely. You have done a great job repurposing the frame. I like the POWDER COATING. I will not make the mistake of calling it Paint. I am going to PAINT my frame silver, too. Silver because of the theme I am doing in my build. The "Silver Nugget". It won't look right with the HF "pink" paint on it now from sitting in the sun. Keep going on teardrop time. It is very therapeutical to de-stress after work for me. Nice V DUB too.
