NEW CUB

 

Introduction

This is a new design: the shape, size and layout are based as closely as possible on the Cub/Modernaire/Modernistic designs, while the structure is a 'conventional' plywood body skinned with aluminium. The chassis is a new design in 2" square tube and is shown with Dexter axles of either leaf spring or torsion types.

The Cub's 10ft body length allows a generous galley and internal cabinets, while still providing a 80" length bed. The hatch has been increased in size over the Cub original to provide easy access to lockers above and below the worktop.
