So the trailer had a sheet of 1/2 plywood bolted to it using carriage bolts and nylock nuts. This was incredibly vexing as the carriage bolts just spun in the bolt holes in the wood. I didn't have any help. Eventually I figured out that if I filed the sides down just a bit I could get a grip with the vice grips. But it was hard to lay under the trailer and hold the vice grip. Enter the drywall screw. The vice grip could spin until it hit the screw.. then it was like having a helper who never got bored.
