Doors are made simply by using the cutting from the side wall. The thin door is framed in 1x3 to give it strength and make an overlapping flange for the side wall. The door just fits in its opening. Another 1x3 is placed and glued along side for the hinge. Another 1x3 is placed on the other side for the door latch and to strengthen the thin side wall. A 1x2 is used along the top and a gutter is extended to the far edges of the door frame. This cheap simple door does not leak in the worst possible rain, even on the highway.
