Deadbolt installed! Using traditional door latch hardware... in a somewhat non traditional manner... limited space... had to think outside the box to make it work... to top it off... I got two scares.... first the deadbolt mechanism depends on being flush mounted for proper assembly and operation... two, it pays to follow ALL assembly instructions... in the process I had two WTF!!! moments. But, the best part... it all worked out!
