Various Bimini and boat rail fittings were used to rigidly attach things. Most joints have been glued with a urethane caulk, then pop riveted with aluminum rivets. The lighter colored LEG poles are Mr. Longarm brand paint poles and work very well for the leg portion. When the frame is lifted out of the Kayak holders, the two legs are swiveled to be behind the main poles so they end up under the mechanism.
