Camper was old and beat when I got it two years ago (Summer 2011) and as of this season....the lifting mechanism for this 1970's Coleman Valley Forge model just quit part way up....gutting it was/is a good idea...it weighed in over 1600lbs when I towed it back from New Jersey (I live on Long Island).....TOO heavy for my 1000lb towing capacity!
