A 8" band of canvas (red in the diagram) is glued to floor. When the foam wall is attached to the floor this band is wrapped around and glued to the foam. The wall canvas is glued over the the wrapped canvas.
Note that the wall canvas extends downward and is folded over onto itself at the bottom to create a sharp edge that channels water away to prevent damage to the chassis and floor.
