The galley is the next step. I will remove the faux wood veneer on the hatch and backsplash and replace it with oak veneer. I am also going to replace the current hatch prop (a telescoping pole) and replace it with two permanent, hinged hatch props. Neither one of us wants to get hit by a falling hatch!
